THE MEANEST and most miserable man in London puts in an appearance at Pavilions Teignmouth this weekend.

Apollo Theatre Company make a welcome return to the venue on Saturday and Sunday (December 19 and 20) with their presentation of Dickens’ festive classic A Christmas Carol.

This new adaptation by Joseph O’Malley, tells a tale of redemption with money-loving and Christmas-hating Ebenezer Scrooge visited by past, present and future Christmas ghosts on Christmas Eve as they attempt to show him the error of his ways.

A cast of four tackle the production with a mix of songs, puppets and a sprinkling of Christmas magic.

There will be six shows in total. Three on Saturday at 2pm, 4pm and 6.30pm and a further three at 1am, 2pm and 4pm on Sunday.

Tickets are priced at £10 and can be booked via the venue’s website www.pavilionsteignmouth.org.uk.
