A SEXUAL harm prevention order has been made against a Teignmouth man who admitted having indecent images of children.

Anthony Paul Percival, aged 55, of Dawlish Street, Teignmouth East, admitted that at Teignmouth he had one indecent image of a child in category B.

He also pleaded guilty to having four indecent images of children in Category C.

He was given a community order for 30 days and must carry out 100 hours of unpaid work over the next year.

Percival must pay £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service and £95 to fund victim services.

The sexual harm prevention order against Percival was made for five years. Under the order he cannot have contact with children under the age of 16 unless it was inadvertent or unavoidable or unless it is with the consent of the child’s parent or guardian who has knowledge of his convictions and the order.

He also cannot use any device capable of accessing the internet without telling the police, allowing them access to it and that it must keep the history of internet use and he cannot delete it.
