A MAN from Cornwall has been accused of assaulting a police officer at Buckfast Abbey.
Alexander Henderson, aged 41, of Tresarret, Bodmin, has pleaded not guilty to assaulting emergency worker PC Dan Jenkins by beating on June 12 last year.
South and West Devon Magistrates' Court sent him for trial at Plymouth Crown Court on August 21.
