A DAWLISH man has admitted several charges of assault and criminal damage.

Dean Hunt, 36, of Newlands, pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman by beating   at Dawlish on December 8 2021. On the same day, he admitted criminal damage to a door and lock valued at £300 and further at an address in Albert Street, used violence to gain entry.

He also admitted failing to surrender to custody on February 20, 2022.

All the cases were adjourned for a further court hearing on March 14.

Magistrates remanded him on conditional bail.
