A MAN has been arrested following reports of criminal damage in Newton Abbot.
Officers were called at around 1.35am to reports of criminal damage at a car park on Highweek Street.
Police have arrested a man on suspicion of criminal damage
The man, in his 60s, remains in police custody.
‘There may be an increased presence of officers in the area today [Friday, April 25] as enquiries are carried out’ a spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said.
