Alan ashby, of pellew Way, Teignmouth, writes:

Teignmouth has lost out again – why could a local person not carry the torch and why is the torch being transported 80 per cent of the journey?

it could have gone to Exeter via Dawlish. At least we had the cycle race and Muse.

A strongly worded letter should go to Lord Coe outlining our disappointment.

And what happened to our slice of the cake from the sale of Exeter Airport?

Dartmouth has had a new swiming pool out of the sale – we could at least have put a lid on the Lido, or solar panels, or is that asking too much?
