A LOCAL cooperative of rural holiday property owners is having their Annual General Meeting this week, with a network event jam packed with inspirational speakers to enhance our members knowledge of the current climate and opportunities for the future.
Devon Farms & Country Stays is a co-operative of more than 50 country members offering unique accommodation which has been established for over 40 years, covering all locations across Devon.
At the meeting, there will be:
- Insights in to future trends of accommodation and upcoming registration, with Alistair Handyside (PASC)
- Understand more about the changes in the Fire Regulations with Jessica Jones (Fire Safety Officer)
- Access support through the Future Farming Resilience programme, including tourism and diversification. Marianne McHugh (Business Information Point) and Matt Ballard (Cosmic)
- Meet customer sustainability demands through organic household cleaning products with Devon based Elmkind.
A spokesperson for the group, said: ‘We would love to share these fonts of knowledge with fellow country accommodation owners in Devon and invite non/past members to come and join us for an informal gathering with a delicious Devonshire buffet lunch at Kentisbeare village hall EX15 2AB (near Cullompton) on Thurs 9th Nov from 10am.’
