AROUND 1,500 worth of fireworks are set to light up the Dartmoor night sky on tomorrow, when the River Dart Country Park, near Ashburton, holds its annual Bonfire Night.

The park, which has recently won gold awards in tourism and business, is holding an all-day event from 10am, featuring stalls and stands selling handmade crafts, toys, books and personalised gifts, while its activities area will also be open.

The bonfire will be set alight at 6.30pm, followed by the firework display at 7pm.
