VENUES across Devon are being invited to take part in this year’s ‘Lift Legend’ campaign to help look after revellers and keep them safe this festive season.

With 2024 being its biggest campaign to date, Devon and Cornwall Police are keen to make this year’s campaign ‘bigger, stronger and bolder’, with even more venues taking part.

And while this year’s campaign will feature the usual posters, flyers, stickers, beer mats and handouts, it will also feature window stickers for doors, windows and entrances, as well as an array of eye-catchy shelf wobblers.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: ‘Do not miss out on this opportunity to help look after your patrons and keep them safe this festive season.

‘On top of the feel good factor of taking part, you will also get a selection of free merchandise to display.

‘With our Lift Legend posters, flyers, shelf talkers and venue door stickers, you can be sure that no matter how merry the celebrations get, dedicated Lift Legends will make sure your patrons get home safely’.

The Lift Legend campaign, which gets underway from December, running until January, sees drivers buying a soft drink in one of the participating venues receiving a voucher to get their second drink free of charge.
