A CHANCE to learn to sketch buildings with confidence with an award-winning artist is on offer at

the Italian Garden at Great Ambrook, near Ipplepen – all for free.

Artist Ewan Walton will lead the workshop from 9.30am to 4.30pm on Saturday, September 19.

Ewan will provide practical tips for sketching on location and demonstrate techniques.

‘Get up close and personal with the garden’s structures to make sense of 3D forms,’ said a spokesperson for the Italian Gardens.

You will need a hard-backed sketchbook/pad and pen and pencils. There will be a break for a pub lunch or bring your own packed lunch.
