MOTORISTS have been wrongly booked for parking in Shaldon.

Free parking is allowed in several bays in the main street, with a 'no return within an hour' restriction.

Drivers who have returned within an hour to a different part of the street have received tickets.

But now a campaigning couple have discovered that vehicles can legally return to another bay in the same street within an hour.

It follows the scandal of motorists being wrongly booked for years on the Upper Den Carriageway at Teignmouth, which was recently exposed by the Post.
