CREATING the new junction for the Morrisons supermarket complex at Teignmouth caused long queues and frustrations for motorists.

But now the work has been completed and the traffic lights on the main Teignmouth to Newton Abbot road are in place and switched on.

Drivers will be more than pleased, because the construction led to long tailbacks in both directions, and often stretching right back into the town.

Combined with other road works and closures in Teignmouth, it was something of a nightmare with many drivers being late for work and appointments.
