THE young Teignmouth student receiving last ditch cancer treatment in America is doing well.
Jasmine Flay, 16, has been in the USA for more than a month, and mum Angie Beeks, who has just returned to their Bishopsteignton home, said: 'The news is quite good.
'Jasmine seems to be responding to treatment. She is feeling okay, and the doctors say 'so far so good'. It is early days and it will take some time before they know if the treatment is really effective, but they are optimistic.'
Dad Martin is now with Jasmine, who attends Teignmouth Community College, while mum looks after their other three daughters at home.
