PORTIONS of invisible chips bought by generous diners at a hotel near Bovey Tracey have helped raise thousands of pounds for Hospitality Action.

Moorland Hotel diners choosing the ‘dish’ are making a £2 donation to the catering industry charity, which is there to support anyone working in the hotels and catering industry in their time of need.

The Coaching Inn Group owns 35 hotels, including the Moorland, across the country and this year’s invisible chips donations made by big hearted diners totalled over £3,000.

Chief Operating Officer Adam Charity revealed that group diners had now raised an amazing £38.314 since the campaign was launched back in April 2020.

‘This is a tremendous achievement for all our big- hearted diners including all those at our Moorland Hotel’, Adam said.
