A ROAD Traffic Collision (RTC) on the A38 near Kennford saw several fire crews mobilised.

The incident, which occurred on Saturday, July 22, saw a vehicle leave the road and come to rest on its side.

The great and the good from Middlemoor Fire Station were first on the scene, followed shortly by the crew from Danes Castle.

Once on scene crews determined that no persons were trapped in the vehicle and so made the scene and vehicle safe. Crews also administered casualty care until the arrival of the ambulance service.

The incident was then handed over to the highways agency.
