THE Torbay and South Devon Foundation Trust spent more than £100,000 on scaffolding last year, a Freedom of Information (FOI) request has shown.
In 2024/25, the trust, which is the main provider of NHS services in Torbay and South Devon, spent £111,519 on scaffolding, the FOI shows.
Last year’s figure was over £25,000 more than in 2023/24 when the figure was £80,461.
Over the last five years the Torbay and South Devon Foundation Trust, which runs Torbay Hospital, as well as a number of community hospitals, has spent more than £300,000 on scaffolding.
