BEING a single parent and holding down a well paid job is possible – as a Teignmouth man has proved, writes John Ware.

Paul Melville brings up two year-old daughter Ella-Louise on his own, and is so successful as a catalogue shopping salesman, he has just won a week's holiday in Tenerife.

The 29-year-old former restaurant manager, of Grange Drive, is area coordinator for Kleeneze and is notching up sales of about £15,000 a month – a phenomenal 350 per cent increase since the start of the year.

He works from home, and fits in business around his daughter.

'It's fantastic to have won this holiday, but it is all down to helping people earn some extra money for themselves during this difficult time.

'We have so many parents who work for us, because the hours are so flexible, and they come from varied backgrounds, including doctors, nurses, police officers, bus drivers, accountants, and students. There has been a significant increase in people wanting to join the company,' Paul pointed out.
