Emergency repairs to Newbridge at Holne have been completed ahead of schedule and the road re-opened at the weekend.

A section of the parapet on the Grade II listed bridge had to be rebuilt after being struck by an HGV last week. The road, between Ashburton and Two Bridges, was re-opened by Saturday morning after scaffolding was removed and the diversion lifted.
