WHEN a keen Teignmouth horse rider wed, her favourite steed went along as well.

Rachel Price, 25, married Vincent Marshall, 37, at St Michael's Church, and there to join in the celebrations was Combeland Golden Dream – Peter for short.

He was ridden to the service by her best friend, Stacey Morley, and the bride admitted: 'Seeing him there outside the church just made my day. He looked so smart.'

Rachel and her guests made a fuss of Peter, who took it all in his stride, and she gave him a big kiss.

The couple have had to postpone their honeymoon until later in the year because Rachel has a full programme of competitions lined-up – she even competed the day after the wedding.
