A TEAM based at Teignmouth Hospital has been recognised for its efforts in bringing a new model of care to the town, writes Ellen Grindley.

The Coastal Health and Wellbeing Team won a bronze award in the annual Blue Shield health awards for delivering the ‘new model of care’ in the coastal locality.

The nomination for the team said it has progressed to a point where it is now recognised as an example of good practice across Torbay and South Devon and has generated interest from colleagues in other areas.
