AS 218 new people had a confirmed positive test result reported in Teignbridge on January 20, the case rate rose again.

Between January 14 and 20 January, 1,345 people had a confirmed positive test result. This shows an increase of 13.4% compared to the previous seven days.

However, there were no deaths within 28 days of a positive test for coronavirus reported in Teignbridge on January 20.

Between January 10 and 16, 32 went into hospital with coronavirus. This shows an increase of 6.7% compared to the previous seven days.

There were 35 patients in hospital with coronavirus on January 18.
