GUIDES from across Newton Abbot North District had a ‘snoozover’, including a traditional campfire, last weekend.
Adult leaders and helpers hosted the overnight event in a local primary school for nearly 170 girls and young women, aged from five to 26.

District commissioner Ruth Oakley said: ‘Seeing girls and young women develop their spirit of adventure by taking part in activities which help them to develop new skills and support each other is one of the things I enjoy most about helping support the leaders in Newton Abbot.’Full story in Friday’s edition of the Mid-Devon Advertiser
