A GROUP of men have appeared in court charged with conspiring to supply Class A drugs.

The seven men appeared at Exeter Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, December 16.

They are charged with the conspiracy between August 1, 2023 and December 15, 2025:

• Ellis Boot, aged 33, of Daddyhole Road, Torquay;

• Zac Chancellor, aged 32, of Primley Park, Paignton;

• Reece Kendall, 33, of Walnut Road, Torquay;

• Philip Petas, aged 36, of Lime Avenue, Torquay;

• Ryan Tolley, aged 35, of South Street, Torquay;

• Luke Lea, aged 30, of Park Road, Blackpool, was also charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

• Dean Whitehead, aged 39, of Porters Drive, Weston Super Mare - he has also been charged with the being concerned in the supply of cannabis during the same time frame, possession of cannabis, driving whilst disqualified and with no insurance.

Six of the men have been remanded in custody, one has been released on court bail.

They are next due to appear at Exeter Crown Court on January 15.

The charges follow a pro-active operation carried out by the Serious and Organised Crime Unit, supported by local officers, on December 14 and 15.
