THE feelgood factor from the Queen's jubilee celebrations ground to an abrupt halt in Teignmouth council chamber, with some members being accused of not doing enough to help.

The town probably had the best celebrations in the area, with two weeks of non-stop fun and jollity on the Den, organised by a hard working team of volunteers.

But it ended in acrimony on Tuesday, when a furious Cllr Dave Matthews, chairman of the events committee, fired a salvo at colleagues he claimed had done little to help.
