New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to three of Teignbridge’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following rating has been given to one restaurant, cafe or canteen:

• Rated 5: The Kitchen @ Tang & Tipple at 5 Bridge House Courtenay Street Newton Abbot; rated on February 2

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And two ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:

• Rated 5: Royal Oak Inn at Ideford Chudleigh Newton Abbot Devon; rated on February 8

• Rated 5: Mid Devon Constitutional Club at 8 Union Street Newton Abbot Devon; rated on February 2
