New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to four of Teignbridge’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

The following ratings have been given to four restaurants, cafes or canteens:
• Rated 5: Social Table at Warren Golf Club Beach Road Dawlish Warren Devon; rated on October 3
• Rated 5: Pinto Thai at 131 Queen Street Newton Abbot Devon; rated on October 2
• Rated 5: Strawberry Fields Farm Shop Buckfastleigh at Strawberry Fields Farm Salmons Leap Buckfastleigh; rated on October 2
• Rated 5: The Starlight Diner at Welcome Family Holiday Park Warren Road Dawlish Warren Devon; rated on September 3
It means that of Teignbridge's 250 similar establishments with ratings, 223 (89%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
