New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Teignbridge’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.
Costa Coffee, at Asda Stores Ltd Asda Supermarket Highweek Street Newton Abbot Devon was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on December 7.
And The Barn Owl, at Barn Owl Inn Aller Road Kingskerswell Devon was also given a score of five on December 7.
It means that of Teignbridge's 250 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 205 (82%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
