February’s wintry weather continued this week and the towns of Teignmouth and Dawlish took another pounding from wild seas and easterly gales. Our readers were out and about capturing these scenes.
Huge waves smashed into the Teignmouth promenade and Dawlish seafront, but fortunately there was no major damage reported.
This dramatic shot above by John Silverman vividly demonstrates the power of the sea as a wave crashed into the prom with the spray reaching as high as the seafront lighthouse.
