GENEROUS shoppers at Tesco’s Kingsteignton store have helped make life a little brighter for people in urgent need of food this Christmas.

The store’s annual three day Winter Food Collection took place from November 18 to 20 and will provide extra food support for local people in urgent need this Christmas.

‘Over the three days our brilliant customers donated enough food to fill over 160 trays,’ said a delighted Tesco Community Champion Janette Parker.

‘It’s been an amazing response but we find our kind-hearted always come up trumps when the chips are down.’
