A FUNERAL service for homeless Mark Dagger from Newton Abbot will be held at the church where he died.

Mark, in his mid-50s, was found dead on the steps of The Avenue Methodist Church on Friday morning.

The Rev Jon Doble said the funeral service would be at 2pm on Monday, February 8, followed by private cremation in Torquay.

‘His death seems to have touched a lot of people. Everyone is welcome to the service,’ he said this afternoon.

A post mortem examination was being conducted at Torbay Hospital today to establish the cause of death, which is not being treated as suspicious.
