As Airforce One touches down President Obama is back in the UK to give us yet another little bit of advice on how we should run our country and our referendum on Europe.
Well, President Obama has advised us in the past and all his advice has caused us nothing but heartache, so please do not blame us if we are not listening.
Britain and it’s people feel that we are as great as we ever were and more than capable of controlling our own affairs.
Many Brits feel that President Obama and the USA should be the last to advise us of our position concerning the EU.
So do not bother to unpack sir – go right on back from whence you came.
May I enlighten President Obama that our position concerning the EU is somewhat similar to that experienced in America in 1776. America declared it’s Independence from Britain, primarily because of unfair taxes and unfair laws over which it had no control.
On June 23 we demand independence from the EU for precisely the same reasons.
We are taxed, controlled and regulated in all aspects of our lives and furthermore over which our government in Westminster has absolutely no control.
Tell me Mr President, would anyone in the America tolerate a situation in which an unelected Federal Government dictated to the United States.
Everyone in the UK supports a very close trading relationship with our continental cousins but on a voluntary basis.
We also have a strong relationship with America, Australia and the whole of the world but we refuse to be dictated to by unelected bureaucrats.
Freedom and Democracy are as important to us today, as they were in America in 1776.
