New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Teignbridge’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Fish And Chip Shop, at Unit 10 Trago Mills Liverton Devon was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on March 14.

And South Devon University Technical College, at Kingsteignton Road Newton Abbot Devon was also given a score of four on March 14.

It means that of Teignbridge's 247 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 214 (87%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
