REGULAR contributor Thomas Mills took this striking picture of the Flying Scotsman as it came through Dawlish earlier today, Sunday.

Thomas reports: 'On Sunday Lunchtime the ex-LNER Class A3 4-6-2 Pacific No 60103 Flying Scotsman steams Through Coryton Cove with the Down 1Z45 09:07 Bristol Temple Meads to Par and Return, with the First of the Year's The Royal Duchy Steam Railtour, as the train emerges from Kennaway Tunnel, on the Dawlish Seawall.

The Mid-Devon Advertiser's photojournalist Steve Pope also took a video as the majestic machine swept through the district.
