A CHERISHED dinghy was deliberately cut adrift from its mooring in the Teign estuary, but luckily later spotted floating out to sea by the crew of a Teignmouth trawler.
They hauled the craft aboard so it could be reunited with its Shaldon owner.
And Susie Ashleigh-Thomas was even happier when fishermen on board the Girl Rhona told her they did not want to claim a salvage fee, and even refused her offer to buy them a few beers.
