A NUMBER of people caught without train tickets were fined by South and West Devon Magistrates' Court.

Stevie Oscar Donald, aged 23, of Little Roborough, Ashburton, was fined £440 for not having a ticket at Exeter St David’s. He must pay £5.60 compensation, costs of £180 and £176 to fund victim service es. The case was proved in his absence.

Katarzyna Kaczmarczyk, aged 39, of Berea Road, Torquay, was fined £440 for not having a ticket at Newton Abbot. He must pay £115.30 compensation, costs of £180 and £176 to fund victim services. The case was proved in his absence.

Charleigh Stevens, aged 20, of Iddesleigh Terrace, Dawlish, was fined £440 for not having a ticket at Teignmouth. He must pay £3.40 compensation, costs of £180 and £176 to fund victim services. The case was proved in his absence.
