THERE will be fewer spaces available in a Newton Abbot car park this week as repainting gets underway.

Teignbridge District Council will be repainting the lines that mark out parking spaces in Halcyon Road car park from today, Monday, January 12.

The car park will remain open throughout, but with sections closed during the line painting.

As such, there will be fewer spaces available while the work takes place.

A spokesperson for the council said: ‘There are plenty of spaces available at the nearby multi-storey car park and parking fees are lower there.

‘The work is expected to last for three days, but that is dependent on suitable weather conditions’.
