TWO DARTMOOR gardens in Moretonhampstead are to open their doors to the public.

Sutton Mead Garden, a large garden on the edge of Dartmoor, is to open again for the National Garden Scheme.

From 1pm until 5pm on May 19 and 20, the gardens will be open to the public.

People are invited to treat themselves to some spring colour at four-acre Mardon and the spacious Sutton Mead, with rhodos looking stunning and whisteria to die for.

There will also be hot soup at Sutton Mead, cream teas at both venues and croquet too!

Dogs, while welcome, must be kept on their leads.

There will also be a large plant sale.
