EXPLORE local heritage and traditions through creative media with summer music sessions courtesy of Soundart Radio and Newton’s Place.

The workshops, which are for ages 11 to 16, will be held on Mondays from 11am to 3pm between July 25 and August 29 at Newton’s Place, Newton Abbot.

The project, which is supported by Devon County Council’s Holiday Activities and Food programme, is an opportunity to create radio features, short films, journals and earn a Bronze Arts Award: a healthy lunch will also be provided.

Places will be prioritised for young people who are in receipt of free school meals; a small number of places are also on offer to young people with SEND or to others whose families have a low income and need free activities and food during the holidays.
