‘THERE are great displays and imagination in the Enchanted Garden theme in spite of the weather conditions!’ is how new Teignmouth in Bloom Judge, Stewart Henchie described the gardens for his first time judging the annual Teignmouth in Bloom competition.
Viv Wilson MBE accompanied Stewart and filmed all gardens that entered the competition.
Viv chose 15 Lake Avenue as the Film Maker’s Choice and commented ‘the variety of eye-catching succulents and intriguing tropicals is outstanding. Number 15 could feature on TV without a doubt.
Worth a walk down the steps to view from the pavement’.
The winner of the Masterclass Trophy chosen by the Judge is 1 St John’s Cottage, Bath Terrace, Stewart said ‘masterclass plants grown to a very high standard and presentation’.
Everyone who entered the competition will be invited to a presentation evening at Bitton House when prizes will be awarded, and the film show screened.
