WE have so many wonderful shows which have produced such fantastic songs and the best way to appreciate them is in a proper theatre with lighting, sound and a friendly ambience.
In the Alexandra Theatre from October 4 to 8, Newton Abbot and District Comedy Society will be delighting audiences with a compilation of these big show numbers.

With the support of the people of Newton Abbot and surrounding districts, it is beginning to look as though the The Alexandra Theatre will survive.
With plans submitted to Teignbridge District Council by the recently formed Alexandra Theatre Community Benefit Society, a charitable organisation, it is hoped that the future of the theatre will be assured to form a cultural and entertainment hub for everyone.
If you have only known The Alexandra as a cinema, then come along to witness the building as it was designed to be; a fully working, proscenium arch, Victorian theatre – the atmosphere is electric.
The quality of the acting and singing in ‘The Show Must Go On’ is superb and some of the songs will not leave a dry eye in the house.
