A NEW departure for Teignmouth Film Society has been announced.

From 7pm on Friday, September 23, Teignmouth Film Society invites you to come along to their annual meeting and hear about their ‘exciting new plans for TFS.

We are keen to hear what our film-lovers think! The meeting will be followed at 8pm by our film: ‘The Man in the Hat’ (2020, UK/France)

It has been described as a ‘unique and whimsical comedy’.

Starring Ciarán Hinds as the man in a hat, who after witnessing an apparent crime, is embroiled in a (leisurely) car chase through idyllic French locations.

Almost devoid of dialogue, the film relies for effect on the lush French scenery, excellent acting and intriguing and comical incidents that ensue.

This original film will have you laughing, as well as scratching your head!

Doors open for refreshments from 7pm – La Salle, Trinity School, Buckerdige Road, Teignmouth, TQ14 8LY.

There will be the general meeting discussion from 7.15pm. Entry £5. Free parking – entrance from Buckeridge Road. Helpers on hand to direct you.

The film running time is 1 hour, 35 minutes. Everyone welcome!
