SERVICE users, staff and visitors at Southlands Care Home, Newton Abbot, have been celebrating the highs and lows of the Rugby World Cup.

The home’s manager Carol Dyke said: ‘Despite England’s recent defeat we are all enjoying watching the matches and cheering the teams on.

‘We will be watching the final no matter who is playing and the winner of our sweepstake will receive a trophy.

‘Our service users enjoy a diverse variety of interests and activities, and taking an interest in national and international events are just a few.’
