WHAT’S the difference between the Teignmouth area coastline, and the exotic Galapagos Islands?
Not much, according to a national tabloid in a light-hearted quiz feature headlined, Who Needs To Go Abroad?
The Daily Mail posted side by side pictures of the red sandstone cliffs at Ness Cove, Shaldon, and a similar beach which is a Pacific Ocean world heritage site, thousands of miles away in the Galapagos Islands.
The strap proclaimed ‘you really can’t tell foreign beauty spots from those here in Britain.’
