REPORTS of lights flickering across Newton Abbot have been made. Residents have reported issues in The Wolborough, Abbotsbury and Bradley Lane areas as well as disruption to the self service checkouts in Asda. A spokesman for Western Power Distribution said: ‘We are sending someone out to investigate. ‘Refrain from using sensitive appliances and appliances with a motor until it’s been rectified.’
