TEXTILE postcards of Teignmouth have been produced by students.

Youngsters from Teignmouth Community School worked with textile designer and artist Caroline Davies to make a postcard from different fabrics to reflect the character of the town.

They researched various areas of the town to plan their designs and learned a range of skills and techniques to come up with their take on Teignmouth.

the students worked on the project once a week after school in the textile workshop for three months.

The scheme was backed by the Helen Foundation charity, which promotes the arts among young people, and the completed postcards were unveiled at a special evening in front of parents and carers.
