YEAR 11 students at Teign School are celebrating the culmination of months of hard work.
The students are celebrating a bumper crop of GCSE results which they collected at school this morning.
The Kingsteignton school has seen another increase in outcomes this year and staff are delighted with the results that students have achieved.
A quarter of the cohort achieved top grades 9 to 7 and more than half achieved a strong pass or above.

The school has seen some spectacular individual performances from both students achieving top grades and those whose hard work has secured them their next steps and opportunities.
Rhys Hammond achieved 11 GCSEs with three Grade 9s, six Grade 8s, one grade 7 including one early entry grade 9 in Year 10.
Rhys will be taking up a prestigious place at Exeter Maths School in September.
Liv Williamson achieved 10 GCSEs with six Grade 9s, two Grade 8s and Distinction *and sitting her Spanish GCSE a year early and achieving a Grade 9.
Ella Richards is a decorated athlete on the paralympic pathway for intellectually impaired T20 competitors and has secured excellent English grades.

Elin Hines, Joseph Cornish and Archie Law all achieved excellent results.
Destinations for Teign students include: Teign Sixth Form College, Exeter Maths School, Plymouth College of Art, Hartpury College, Exeter College
Bicton College and Torquay Girls Grammar.
Others will be joining the Armed Forces and starting a range of apprenticeships.

‘We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them. These grades are an important milestone, but they are only one part of their story.
‘We know our students leave Teign School with the confidence, skills and ambition to flourish in the next stage of their education, training or employment.’
