A SHALDON drink-driver has received a year’s ban from South and West Devon Magistrates Court.

Jonathan Peter Weldon Bailey, aged 34, of Richmond Place, Shaldon, admitted having 57 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.

His 12-month ban will be reduced by 12 weeks on completion of a rehabilitation course. He was also fined £153 and ordered to pay a victim services charge of £34 and Crown Prosecution Services costs of £85.
