A KINGSTEIGNTON man who assaulted a woman has been sent to the Crown Court for sentencing.

Sean Farmer, aged 23, of Priscott Way, admitted assaulting the woman in Newton Abbot, causing her actual bodily harm.

South and West Devon Magistrates' Court committed Farmer to Exeter Crown Court for sentencing on March 30 noting it was an ‘Urgent result: domestic violence case.’

Farmer was granted unconditional bail.
