HE may be a big shot in the film world, but Paul Andrew Williams (left) has not forgotten his roots.

Brought up in Teignmouth, the 39-year-old paid tribute to his home town and the former Teignmouth Community College during speeches at the premiere of his latest movie at the Odeon West End.

And he invited two of his former teachers to the all-star gathering in the heart of London.

There to soak up the atmosphere and razzmatazz and meet some of the big names from filmland were Wendy Waites, who taught Paul drama, and Chris Dryden, his English teacher, both now retired.
