TEIGNMOUTH lifeboat station is being transformed into a restaurant – for one night only.

The lifeboat is being moved aside to make way for 30 diners who will be treated to a four-course meal, including locally caught fish and seasonal produce, complete with silverware and linen covers.

The one-off on Sunday, May 30, is to coincide with the revived Harbour Fiesta, now called the Back Beach Festival, and is being organised by Open for Dinner, which specialises in laying on dinners in unlikely locations.
